MP-ATF model backgauge is designed with the same philosophy that applies to all other MetalPro products;

MP-ATF backgauge turrets runs on double linear guides and single ballscrew on X direction for maximum precision and stability. Each X axis turret is machined out of a single piece aluminum cast for rigidity.

R Axis of MP-ATF is built on a rack&pinion system along with a linear guide to ensure stability.

Each ATF turret runs on a rack&pinion system along with double linear guides on Z direction for reliability and stability.

Each ATF turret has two pieces of backgauge fingers on them. One straight shape finger and one hook shaped finger. This way, customer can choose the correct finger to use when bending conical/irregular parts or straight parts.
