MP-Delta model backgauge is designed with the same philosophy that applies to all other MetalPro products;

MP-Delta backgauge X axis runs on double linear guides and single ballscrew for maximum precision and stability. Each X axis housing is machined out of a single piece aluminum cast for rigidity.

R Axis of MP-Delta is built on a rack&pinion system along with a linear guide to ensure stability.

The motorized fingers (Z1-Z2) run on a rack&pinion system along with a linear guide to ensure stability and speed.

The Z2 finger of MP-Delta can also move back and forth in X direction for a total stroke of 200 mm. This way, it is possible to bend conical or irregular shapes on the press brake.

Backgauge bar on MP-Delta is a single piece aluminum extrusion profile with a honeycomb structure inside for maximum rigidity, a linear guide on top for the backgauge fingers to be positioned alongside the axis.

The parallelism of the backgauge bar can be adjusted precisely with the push&pull screws that are positioned every 100 mm along the length of the bar. This system ensures 100% accuracy on the backgauge for the entire lifetime of the backgauge.
