Premium Single Axis Backgauge for entry level press brakes

MP-X model backgauge is designed with the same philosophy that applies to all other MetalPro products;

MP-X backgauge runs on double linear guides and single ballscrew for maximum precision and stability. Each X axis housing is machined out of a single piece aluminum cast for rigidity.

Backgauge bar on MP-X is a single piece aluminum extrusion profile with a honeycomb structure inside for maximum rigidity, a linear guide on top for the backgauge fingers to be positioned alongside the axis.

The parallelism of the backgauge bar can be adjusted precisely with the push&pull screws that are positioned every 100 mm along the length of the bar. This system ensures 100% accuracy on the backgauge for the entire lifetime of the backgauge.

Backgauge fingers can be adjusted manually on the Z axis direction from the front of the machine thanks to a clever spring loaded brake mechanism.

The height of the fingers can be adjusted manually with a simple knob adjustment for different height dies.
